Update at 5:30 p.m.: The Steelers announced that Mann has been hired as wide receivers coach.

Mike Tomlin has interviewed Richard Mann, 65, for the opening at wide receivers coach, but has some other candidates in mind as well.
Mann, an Aliquippa native, coached with Tomlin in Tampa Bay, and also has coached for the Colts, Chiefs, Redskins and Ravens.
Tomlin has two openings on his staff, at wide receiver after Scottie Montgomery resigned to join the coaching staff at Duke University, and another position that was previously a second special teams coach but might be used elsewhere.
