Center Trevor Smith had the game-winning goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 3-2 comeback win on the road against the Portland Pirates Saturday.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton got goals from defenseman Brian Dumoulin on a power play in the second period as well as defenseman Joey Mormina (right) and Smith in the third period.
Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 21 saves in the victory.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has won four out of its past five games. The Penguins' next game is Wednesday on the road against the Syracuse Crunch, 7 p.m.
Wheeling has lost two consecutive game. The Nailers' next game is on the road Sunday against the Walleye, 5:05 p.m.
