Centers Chad Kolarik and Warren Peters each had a goal and an assist for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 5-3 road win against the Worcester Sharks Friday.
Kolarik scored a goal on a second period power play while Kolark recorded his goal on an empty net in the third period. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's other goals came from defenseman Dylan Reese on a first period power play as well as right winger Paul Thompson (right) and center Riley Holzapfel in the second period. Center Trevor Smith recorded two assists for the Penguins.
Goaltender Brad Thiessen made 34 saves in the victory.
Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has won three out of its past four games. The Penguins next game is Saturday on the road against the Portland Pirates, 7 p.m.
Goaltender Peter Delmas made 32 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 5-3 home loss to the Toledo Walleye Friday.
Wheeling has lost two consecutive games. The Nailers' next contest is Saturday on the road against the Walleye, 7:05 p.m.
