After each game, Post-Gazette writers will post an entry listing the players who were announced as the official three stars of that contest, with a brief explanation of why they were selected.
We want to know how fans watching the game, whether in person or on television, feel about those choices, which generally are made by one or more media members covering the event.
Whether you agree completely with the selections made at the arena, disagree violently with them all or somewhere in between, you will have an opportunity to list your picks for the stars, along with a sentence or two for each laying out your rationale, in the Comments section below.
The three stars in the Penguins' 3-1 victory over Toronto Thursday Thursday night at Air Canada Centre were:
1. Penguins C Sidney Crosby (one assist).
2. Penguins RW Pascal Dupuis (two goals).
3. Penguins G Marc-Andre Fleury (28 saves).
