Nashville has claimed winger Zach Boychuk off waivers from the Penguins.

The Penguins waived him Tuesday to clear a spot on their 23-man roster for Evgeni Malkin, who had been on injured reserve with a concussion.

Boychuk, claimed off waivers from Carolina earlier this season, did not have a point in seven games with the Penguins.

The Penguins also, as expected, recalled winger Beau Bennett from their farm team in Wilkes-Barre.

He had been assigned to the Baby Penguins Monday to clear an immediate spot on the 23-man roster for Malkin.
