The Penguins are beginning their morning skate at Consol Energy Center in advance of tonight's home game against Tampa Bay. Evgeni Malkin, who on Sunday was cleared for contact as he recovers from a concussion, is on the ice. He is skating on his regular line with wingers Matt Cooke and James Neal and working on a point on the top power-play unit, but we aren't willing to read anything into that.

Defenseman Paul Martin, as with Sunday, was out earlier with conditioning coach Mike Kadar. Martin is day-to-day because of an unspecified injury, but he has has been ruled out for tonight.

The lines:

Chris Kunitz-Sidney Crosby-Pascal Dupuis

Matt Cooke-Evgeni Malkin-James Neal

Dustin Jeffrey-Brandon Sutter-Tyler Kennedy

Tanner Glass-Joe Vitale-Craig Adams

(Beau Bennett, Zach Boychuk)
