Shootout goals by center Jayson Megna (right), right winger Tom Kostopoulos and center Adam Payerl gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 2-1 home win against the Albany Devils Saturday.
Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 26 saves in the victory and stopped three of the five shootout attempts he faced. Center Trevor Smith scored the Penguins' only regulation goal in the first period.
The Penguins' next game is Friday on the road against the Providence Bruins, 7:05 p.m.
Forward Paul Crowder had a hand in all of Wheeling's offese with a first period goal and two assists. Forward Chris Barton added a power-play goal in the third period and an assist.
The Nailers' next game is Sunday at home against the Kalamazoo Wings, 2 p.m.
