Penguins captain Sidney Crosby (right) was named the NHL's second star for the month of February.

Appearing in 14 games last month, Crosby recorded 24 points including a league-best 14 assists. He recorded points in all but three games in February. Crosby is currently tied with Lightning center Steven Stamkos for the overall league lead in scoring with 31 points.

Stamkos was named the first star for February while Blackhawks goaltender Ray Emery was given the third star.
