A late start

The Penguins generally fly at 2 p.m., but they'll spend a little extra time in Florida today before flying to Raleigh for a game against Carolina Thursday at 7:08 p.m.

They are scheduled to practice at the BB&T Center, site of their 6-4 loss to Florida Tuesday night, at 2 this afternoon before heading to the airport.

Penalty-killing presumably will get at least a little attention during that workout, given that the Panthers had a man-advantage while scoring their first four goals Tuesday night.
