Injured Penguins center Evgeni Malkin will be evaluated further before tonight's game against Tampa Bay, coach Dan Bylsma said.

Bylsma said that while a concussion has not been ruled out, Malkin at no time since he banged into the end boards Friday night has he has headaches or disorientation.

Couple that with team captain Sidney Crosby saying he heard Malkin is feeling a little better, and it seems positive.

However, if Malkin has a concussion, there is no way really to determine timetable for his return. We still will have to wait and see.

The Penguins have not indicated whether they will provide an update  before the game, or even afterward. Malkin previously was ruled out for tongiht's game.
