We asked Penguins center Sidney Crosby about playing on the same line as right winger James Neal. That's how the lines looked at the morning skate.
Here's what he had to say:
"We've only kind of spotted in playing together with [Malkin], but I've got a pretty good idea where he's going to be, so I'll look to find him there.
"I think I probably look to pass a little bit more than I do shoot. I think it's something naturally that I do, but I don't think I want to think about it too much. I'll look to still get shots, but I know that [Neal] is great at finding those seams, finding those open areas. I'll make sure I try to look for him.
"[Neal] doesn't really want the puck until he gets over the blue line [laughs], so it works out pretty good. He gives it to [Malkin] and lets [Malkin] work the neutral zone. I like to have it coming through the neutral zone, too, so we're pretty similar that way between me and [Malkin]. I'm probably a little more straight lines, attacking. [Malkin] kind of goes east-west a little more, while I'm probably a little more straight-line. It's nothing that will take time to adjust to."
