Kris Letang and Matt Niskanen are close enough to returning to the Penguins' lineup -- if not tonight, surely it will be very soon -- that it's time to take a look at what the Penguins do with the defensemen who have been filling in very capably.
We're going to guess that Simon Despres will stay in the lineup, but that's not official. Another rookie, Robert Bortuzzo, also has played well. As has local product Dylan Reese.
Would you blow things up? Keep Brooks Orpik-Paul Martin as your shutdown pair and reunite Letang and Niskanen as a pairing? Would you sit Deryk Engelland and play two of the newcomers together on the third pairing? Is now the time to swing another trade of a defenseman?
We'd like to hear your take on what coach Dan Bylsma and/or general manager Ray Shero should do.
