The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins opened a two-game home stand with a 5-1 loss to the rival Binghampton Senators.

Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff got the start and recorded a loss after making nine saves on 11 shots in the first period. He was replaced at the start of the second by goaltender Brad Thiessen who made 18 saves on 21 shots.

The Penguins' only goal was scored center Dominik Uher (right) on a power play in the third period.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's next game is against the Norfolk Admirals Friday, 7:05 p.m.
