Goaltender Peter Delmas made 22 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-2 shootout loss to the Gwinnett Gladiators at home Thursday. It was Wheeling's second consecutive loss.

Forwards Peter Lenes (right) and Jordy Trottier scored the Nailers' regulation goals in the third period.

The Nailers' next game is Friday at home against the Reading Royals, 7 p.m.
