Nothing is certain yet, but some of the drills the Penguins are using during their game-day skate at Madison Square Garden suggest rookie defenseman Robert Bortuzzo might make his 2012-13 debut this evening.
He presumably would replace Ben Lovejoy, who was shaken up on a hit from behind during th Penguins' 4-1 loss to the New York Islanders Tuesday.
Lovejoy, it should be noted, is participating in the Penguins' game-day skate with no apparent difficulty, so it's possible Bortuzzo is getting some work on the No. 3 pairing as a precaution if Lovejoy is unable to be at 100 percent tonight.
