The day didn't start very well for Beau Bennett, as he learned the Penguins are sending him back to their American Hockey League affiliate in Wilkes-Barre, but things picked up quite a bit in early evening.
That's when it was announced that Bennett will be the lone Baby Penguin to participate in the AHL All-Star Game Jan. 28 in Providence, R.I.
Bennett, 21, leads Wilkes-Barre with 18 assists and is tied for the team scoring lead with 24 points in 30 games.
