The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins' woes continue.

Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff made 12 saves for the Penguins who fell on the road to the Binghamton Senators, 3-1, tonight.

Left winger Beau Bennett (right) accounted for Wilkes-Barre/Scranton's offense with a first-period goal, his sixth of the season. The Penguins lost despite outshooting the Senators, 44-15.

Wilkes-Barre/Scranton has dropped five consecutive games and 11 of their past 12 contests. The Penguins' next game at home against the Worcester Sharks tomorrow, 7:05 p.m.


An overtime goal by forward Chris Barton gave the Wheeling Nailers a 3-2 home win against the Trenton Titans tonight.

Forwards Chris Higgins and Paul Crowder scored goals during the second period for Wheeling while goaltender Peter Delmas made 25 saves to earn the victory. Forward Cody Chupp led all scorers with two assists.

The victory snapped a two-game losing skid for the Nailers. Wheeling's next game is scheduled tonight at home against Trenton, 7 p.m.
