Goaltender Jeff Zatkoff (right) made 25 saves for the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in a 3-2 overtime loss at home to the Norfolk Admirals.

Centers Brian Gibbons and Jayson Megna scored goals in the first and second period respectively for the Penguins who have lost three consecutive games and nine out of their past 10 contests.

The Penguins' next game is Monday at home against the Syracuse Crunch, 5:05 p.m.


Goaltender Peter Delmas made 20 saves for the Wheeling Nailers in a 3-0 road loss to the South Carolina Stingrays.

Former Mercyhurst goaltender Ryan Zapolski stopped 23 shots to earn the shutout for South Carolina.

The Nailers failed to earn at least point for the first time in nine games. Wheeling's next game is Monday at home against the Elmira Jackals, 5 p.m.
