It's been two weeks since the NHL and the NHL Players' Association got together to try to work toward a new collective bargaining agreement -- remember that second round of federal mediation in New Jersey? -- and there's no evidence that they'll be doing it again in the immediate future.
NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said by email that, as of this morning, there still are no negotiations scheduled.
He added that he is uncertain whether the sides will be in contact today, which is the 103rd day of the lockout that has shut down the NHL since mid-September.
