If there's a Christmas Miracle this year, it doesn't look as if it will involve an end to the NHL lockout.
NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly said via email this morning that, while he is not know if there will be contact between the league and the NHL Players' Association today, he does "not expect any bargaining before Christmas."
