Barrig a remarkable run by another player, Evgeni Malkin will be the top vote-getter in fan balloting for the Kontinental Hockey League all-star game.
Voting ends Friday and, as of this evening, Malkin has pulled in 39,539 votes.
Pavel Datsyuk has passed Alex Ovechkin to take over second place, with 32,585.
