Evgeni Malkin is the early leader in the balloting for Kontinental Hockey League all-stars.
He has 14,187 votes and is followed by Alex Ovechkin (11,116), Ilya Kovalchuk (10,359), Pavel Datsyuk (9,356) and Semyon Varlamov (8,063), all of whom normally play in the NHL.
