Evgeni Malkin had a goal and four assists during Metallurg Magnitogorsk's 7-2 victory against Dinamo Riga in a Kontinental Hockey League game today.
Malkin's outburst moved him into second place in the KHL scoring race, with 41 points in 28 games.
Malkin has gotten nine of those in his past two appearances.
Teammate Sergei Mozyakin tops the KHL with 48 points.
