Penguins prospect Anton Zlobin, who played for Val d'Or in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, is one of 31 players invited to Russia's selection camp for the upcoming world junior championships.

He was the Penguins' sixth-round choice in June and has 14 goals and 23 assists in 27 games with the Foreurs this season.

Zlobin is one of five Penguins' prospects to date who will have a shot at competing for the world title.

Center Teddy Blueger will compete for Latvia in the tournament for the second time, while defensemen Scott Harrington and Derrick Pouliot (Canada) and Olli Maatta (Finland) are in the running for spots on their national teams.
