The Penguins skated a little earlier than usual today at Southpointe. A couple of the players had some dad duty to attend to.
The nine Penguins who participated: defensemen Matt Niskanen and Ben Lovejoy; forwards Pascal Dupuis, Chris Kunitz, Matt Cooke, Craig Adams, Joe Vitale, Tyler Kennedy and Sidney Crosby, and goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.
After the normal drills and a three-on-three scrimmage -- which was upbeat and competitive -- Crosby and Dupuis stayed on the ice for some extra skating.
