During the evening, word came from the NHLPA that its special counsel, Steve Fehr, and NHL deputy commissioner Bill Daly expected to touch base tonight or Sunday to perhaps schedule another formal collective bargaining session.
That's, of course, a good sign, although to this point progress has been almost painfully slow. Maybe one of these days there will be a breakthrough.
