The Penguins had a robust group for practice at Southpointe today: defensemen Matt Niskenan and Ben Lovejoy, and forwards Pascal Dupuis, Chris Kunitz, Matt Cooke, Craig Adams, Joe Vitale, Tyler Kennedy and Sidney Crosby, plus goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury.
The small bad patch of ice from the day before was repaired. They also had fill-in goaltender Jason Binnie and a friend of Adams who sometimes skates in these sessions. With that many bodies, the group had a five-on-five scrimmage -- Crosby centered Kunitz and Dupuis for one side -- for two 20-minute periods with a running clock and built-in breathers. Cooke's son, Jackson, ran the scoreboard.
