-Allan Walsh, agent for Tomas Vokoun (right), said his client has not joined Karlovy Vary of the Czech Extraliga and has no immediate plans of playing in Europe during the lockout. The team reported last week that Vokoun had signed a contract.

I guess if there’s any hope or a reason to be optimistic, that’s it.” - Sharks forward Patrick Marleau on negotiations with the NHL and NHLPA.
