All indications are that the NHL will announce today that it has canceled all games scheduled for November.

The Penguins, who lost nine games in October because of the labor dispute that has shut down the league since mid-September, were supposed to play 14 times next month, with seven of those games at Consol Energy Center.

There apparently are no negotiations scheduled between the NHL and its Players' Association.

It is not clear exactly when today the league will formally announce the next batch of games to be wiped out.
