PITTSBURGH - Richie Hebner's 3 run HR with 2 outs was enough to hold off the Cardinals, 4-1.

The Cards scored a run in the 1st inning on Joe Torre's triple. The Pirates countered when Willie Stargell doubled home Dave Cash to tie the game. Hebner's blast drove in Stargell and Al Oliver to make it 4-1.
