With Pedro Alvarez leading the way with five home runs (prior to last night), signs of power were few and far between for the Pirates in April.
They had a mere 13 home runs last month, the fourth-lowest total in all of Major League Baseball. On a per-game basis, it's the third lowest for the franchise since it moved to PNC Park in 2011:
