-An overtime goal goal by center Chad Kolarik gave the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins a 2-1 road win against the rival Hershey Bears.

-Pitt's Tray Woodall has evolved into a scorer over his career.
-Russ Smith scored 18 points for No. 12 Louisville which defeated No. 25 Marquette, 70-51.
-Austin Hollins scored 17 points for No. 23 Minnesota in a 62-59 win against Iowa.
