Steelers/NFL-The Steelers are still hanging on to the AFC's final postseason berth.
-The Steelers activated guard David DeCastro (right) from the injured reserve/designated to return list, re-signed offensive lineman John Malecki, placed offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert (ankle) on injured reserve and released wide receiver David Gilreath.
-The Jaguars signed rookie wide receiver Toney Clemons off the Steeers' practice squad.
-Cam Newton rushed for two touchdowns and rushed for two more scores to lead the Panthers to a 30-22 defeat of the Panthers.
-Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart left the game due to an anke injury.
-The Ravens activated wide receiver/kick returner David Reed (knee) from the physically unable to perform list.
-Patriots defensive end Jermaine Cunningham was suspended four games for violating the NFL's subantance abuse policy.
-The Titans fired offensive coordinator Chris Palmer.
-The NFL will not suspend Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh (right) for kicking Texans quarterback Matt Schaub in the crotch.
-49ers wide receiver Kyle Williams will miss the rest of the season due to a left knee injury.
