-The Steelers edge the Chiefs, 16-13, in overtime, but lose Ben Roethlisberger to a shoulder injury.

-Highlights.

-According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, Roethlisberger suffered a separated shoulder.

-Ryan Clark was evaluated for a concussion.

-The Steelers released Alameda Ta'amu and signed wide receiver David Gilreath off the practice squad.

-The Chiefs had a lead in regulation for the first time all season.

-Chiefs wide receiver Jon Baldwin's return to Heinz Field did not go well.

-Packers tackle Bryan Baluga was placed on injured reserve due to a hip injury.

-J.J. Moore had 20 points for Pitt which defeated Fordham, 86-51.

-Pitt guard John Johnson will transfer.

-Mike McFadden had 13 points for Robert Morris which fell to Lehigh, 89-60.

-Aaric Murray had 14 points for West Virginia which was routed by No. 19 Gonzaga, 84-50.

-No. 1 Indiana defeated North Dakota State, 87-61.

-No. 5 Michigan routed IUPUI, 91-54.

-No. 17 Memphis beat North Florida, 81-66.

-No. 18 UNLV pounded Northern Arizona, 92-54.

-No. 20 Notre Dame stomped Monmouth, 84-57.

College Football

-Former Penn State quarterback Paul Jones will transfer to Robert Morris.

-Wide receiver Ivan McCartney has left West Virginia.

-A knee injury will sideline Louisville running back Senorise Perry for the rest of the season.

-The BCS finalized the details of a four-team playoff format set to begin in 2014.

Penguins/NHL

-"I don't really know what [the league owners] have given up, up to this point." - Sidney Crosby on negotiations between the NHL and NHLPA.
