-The Panthers signed former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Jason DeSantis to a one-year two-way contract.
-The Blues signed forward Chris Stewart to a one-year contract worth $3 million. Stewart, 24, was scheduled to become a restricted free agent July 1. In 79 games last season, Stewart scored 30 points (15 goals, 15 assists).
-An estimated 250,000 turned out for the Kings' victory parade yesterday.
