-A goal and two assists by captain Dustin Brown led the Kings to a 6-1 series-clinching win against the Devils in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final. Jeff Carter and Trevor Lewis each scored two goals for Los Angeles while teammates Drew Doughty, Dwight King and Mike Richards each recorded two assists. Jonathan Quick made 17 saves in the victory for the Kings who won the series, 4-2, and claimed the first Stanley Cup title in franchise history.

In 82 games this past season, Kelly, 31, scored 39 points (20 goals, 19 assists). Campbell signed three-year contract worth a total of $4.8 million and will have a salary cap hit of $1.6 million. In 78 games this past season, Campbell, 28, scored 16 points (eight goals, eight assists).
-The Pirates signed catcher Wyatt Mathisen, their second-round pick in this year's draft.
