Steelers/NFL
-Mike Wallace will be absent from the Steelers' OTAs.
-Greg Lloyd is still complaining about the NFL.
-Larry Richert will be the Steelers' new public address announcer at Heinz Field.
-Bengals linebacker linebacker Dontay Moch was suspended four games for using a banned substance.
Penguins/NHL
-A goal by Evgeni Malkin helped Russia defeat Slovakia, 6-2, for the gold medal in the IIHF World Championships. Malkin led the tournament with 19 points (11 goals, eight assists) and won tournament MVP.
-Malkin's goal:
-Mike Smith made 36 saves for the Coyotes in a 2-0 shutout of the Kings in Game 4. Los Angeles has a 3-1 series lead.
