It's amazing how things can change in the course of a year.

Just over 365 days ago, Pittsburgh sports were in a good place. The Penguins were the center of the hockey universe having hosted the Winter Classic, the Steelers were rolling through the playoffs en route to the Super Bowl, Pitt basketball was racking up Big East wins and Pitt football even won the BBVA Compass Bowl.

Twelve months, one concussion, one lockout, one Nasir Robinson foul, one high octane offense and 19 muggy innings in Atlanta later, Pittsburgh sports are struggling thus far in January.

Combining all the records of the major teams in Pittsburgh (sorry Duquesne and Robert Morris fans), this month has been the worst in terms of winning percentage over the past 12 months:
