We are hearing various stories about the child abuse classes which are required of every counselor, teacher, etc. This is not an example of PSU belatedly learning its lesson. Rather, such programs are no doubt required by PSU's insurers, if PSU is to have any hope of retaining its insurance against liability for staff misconduct. Further, can you imagine the amount of the increased insurance premiums which PSU must now pay for insurance? What a mess. - EddieT

Gotta love it.....PSU is charging $145 for adults and $45 for students to attend a 2-Day child abuse prevention conference. Takes guts....THAT'S for sure. Wonder if they're making a profit, and if so, where is the money going??? - TOURMAN
