Pitt and Louisville have played 11 times since the Cardinals joined the Big East in 2005-06. Eight of those games have been decided by six points or fewer.

Even when the teams are going in opposite directions the games are close. Last season, Pitt had a chance to win at Louisville, but fell to the Cards, 57-54. The Panthers were in the midst of their worst season in 13 years and the Cards were about to make a run to the NCAA title game.

Here is the list of the games between Pitt and Louisville since 2006

Wayne Blackshear and Kevin Ware out for Louisville tonight.

In your opinion Ray how much does this change things? Blackshear is very talented and one of their best three-point shooters.

We obviously need to still play very well to win but losing those two has to hurt I would think.
