Garry Gilliam could conceivably have about three degrees by the time he finishes at Penn State. Because of a redshirt season as a freshman and then a redshirt injury season, Gilliam has been granted a sixth year of eligibility. He'll be at Penn State for the next two seasons.
“I’m very excited to be able to continue to help Penn State and to be a part of such an important period in our history,” said Gilliam in a release.
He'll be playing at least next season at a different position. Gilliam will move from tight end to the offensive line. Last season, Gilliam was a backup who primarily blocked. He caught seven passes for 65 yards.
