Gregg Garrity Jr. will walk-on at Penn State

The son of Penn State's 1982 championship team hero will walk on at Penn State next season. Gregg Garrity Jr., the North Allegheny wide receiver, announced his intentions on his Twitter account today.

Garrity Jr. played a starring role for North Allegheny the last two seasons on one of the best teams in the state. This year, North Allegheny won the state title.   

And it's more than just Garrity Jr. and his dad who have Penn State connections. As Lou Prato mentioned, his grandfather was a Penn State player in the 50s.
