Now that the real football season has finally ended, its run of exhibitions has begun. And this week, five Penn State players will be taking part in two of these games.

On Saturday, defensive end Pete Massaro, defensive end Sean Stanley and running back Mike Zordich will play in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl at 6 in Los Angeles. The game will be on ESPN2.

Also on Saturday, linebacker Gerald Hodges and center Matt Stankiewitch will play in the East-West Shrine Game, which is at 4 on the NFL Network.

Especially for Massaro, Stanley and Zordich, these games are important. Stankiewitch and Hodges are sure to get NFL tryouts (and Hodges will probably get drafted), but the other three have more to prove if they want their best shot at the league.
