So, are you a Penn State fan? Do you like gambling? Are you curious to see how a boardwalk looks after Hurricane Sandy, in the midst of winter?

If so, there is one heck of a trip designed for you. Rise and Rally , an alumni booster group not affiliated with the University, is bringing several current and former players to Atlantic City from January 5 to January 8.

The itinerary is rather miniscule at this point. There is a silent auction planned, a one-hour film session with former players, a one-hour long meet and greet/autograph session.

Mainly, it sounds like it will be an Atlantic City type of weekend - you go to gamble and drink and eat and watch sports. The only difference will be that Penn State players are involved.

Hopefully, they're not violating any NCAA rules. The last thing we need are more sanctions.
