On Saturday, Matt McGloin may have played his best game of what has been his best season, and the Big Ten took notice. McGloin was named co-offensive player of the week by the conference.
He finished Saturday's game against Indiana with a career-high 395 passing yards and four touchdowns. In the game, he set the Penn State single-season record for completions and passing yards and the career record for passing touchdowns.
It is McGloin's second Big Ten player of the week award. In 2011, he was named offensive player of the week after a Penn State victory against Eastern Michigan in which he threw for 220 yards and three touchdowns.
