Hurricane Sandy and the bad weather of Wednesday has forced Penn State to practice inside at Holuba Hall all three days of practice this week. Will it matter come Saturday?
Maybe. As Bill O'Brien says, it's always better to be out in the elements.
"We felt like we could get the most done inside," he said. "I don't like going inside but because of the wind and the rain and the field conditions, again, at this point in the season I would rather go inside and get productive work rather than risk having somebody get injured on a slippery field or something like that."
Quarterback Matt McGloin said they can't expect comfortable weather at Purdue.
"Purdue is going to be cold out there, probably rainy," he said. "It seems like one of those environments. It’s not that great because you’re not getting comfortable with the atmosphere."
