Michael Mauti was snubbed from the Lombardi Award watchlist, but he nabbed another award today. He and fellow linebacker Gerald Hodges were named midseason All-Americans by Phil Steele's College Football. You can see the entire list here.

Mauti was named to the second team and Hodges to the fourth. Combined, they've won three of the last four Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week awards. Mauti has 57 tackles and has forced five turnovers this season. Hodges has 50 tackles and has forced three turnovers.
