Kain Colter is not your average dual-threat quarterback. Not only does he both run and pass the ball, he also plays different positions. It's not unusal for him to play one down as a quarterback and then the next down as a wide receiver and then switch back again. For the year, he has 369 passing yards, 371 rushing yards and 131 receiving yards.
On Tuesday, Bill O'Brien said the team is using multiple guys to act as Colter when the team is practicing this week. He admitted it will be hard, that it won't be possible to recreate Colter.
"You have to understand on every single snap where he is," O'Brien said.
And that's probably the key. The defense has to be conscious of where Colter is because more than likely he is going to be involved with the ball at some point, whether he's throwing, passing or running it.
