Penn State has announced that three football players will attend Big 10 Media Days now. Conspicuously, Silas Redd was not one of them even though he was originally scheduled to attend.

And now we know why: Joe Schad of ESPN is reporting that Redd is visiting with USC coach Lane Kiffin today.

Of all the possible transfers that could happen at Penn State, Redd's is the only one that has been garnering public attention. Since Monday, speculation has abounded about his future.

Losing Redd would be a blow for Penn State. Without much of a passing game, he carried the burden of the offense last year, and many fans were excited to see how a talented running back would fit into Bill O'Brien's New England offense.

He's a moron if he leaves. If he plays for Penn State this year is he showing his talent to NFL scouts in a NFL based offense.
