ST.LOUIS - Roberto Clemente had 2 hits and drove in a run despite grounding into 3 double plays. 

The Pirates' right fielder was one of four Bucs to drive in runs in their 6-2 victory over the Cards.

Clemente was 2-5 and now needs 81 hits to reach 3,000.
The Cards committed 3 errors in the game. Ted Sizemore's error in the 4th accounted for 2 unearned runs in a 3 run Pirates' inning.

Steve Blass (5-1) was the winner. Ramon Hernandez earned his 3rd save. Reggie Cleveland (3-3) took the loss.

Wednesday's game will have Bob Moose facing Scipio Spinks.
